Reality Forgotten

Reality clenches fists of rage,
Over forgotten lands of the damned,
Too weak to do what the heart desires,
Too proud to ask for a piece of truth,
Too selfish to share joys of learning,
Damned forever in its prison
Made of bones of past indiscretions
Of past seductions
And hidden lies
Tucked away in some obscure corner
Of a long-forgotten universe.

Reality cries tears of blood,
Mingled with sweat of breathing passion,
Infused with lost innocence,
And broken promises.
Chained and bound by fleeting hope,
Of time falling over the edge
Of perception and belief.

A soul's cry

I'm sorry for the pain
I'm sorry for the lies
I'm sorry for the long-lost love
I'm sorry for the confusion
I'm sorry for the consequences
I'm sorry for the memories
I'm sorry for the questions
I'm sorry for the answers
I'm sorry for the heartbreak
I'm sorry for the darkness
I'm sorry for the mistakes
I'm sorry for the time gone by
I'm sorry for the way things are
I'm sorry for the future
I'm sorry for the past
I'm sorry for the blood
I'm sorry for the chains
I'm sorry for the prison
I'm sorry for the tears
I'm sorry for the laughter
I'm sorry for the way
Your soul now cries.

Confusion

Dazed and lost in an ocean of thought,
I plummet to my own demise
By asking questions that bear no answers.
With threads of yellow light,
My thoughts spin a web
Of fragile, intricate design,
That makes no sense
From the angle I watch.
Confusion's all I know.

I'm drowning in despair
I'm suffocating
I'm dying
All because things make no sense anymore.
Confusion slashes my soul
As it rips the very core of my being
And it leaves my head
Swimming in mass of
Unanswered questions
Confusion's all I know.
Confusion's all I see.

My soul is screaming
My mind won't quiet
And my heart beats
So fast, so strong
That it leaps from my chest
And hits the wall
Leaving a bloody trail.
Confusion's all I know.
Confusion's all I see.
Confusion's all I feel.

Answer me !!!
Because ...
Confusion's all I know.
Confusion's all I see.
Confusion's all I feel.
Confusion's all I am.

Heart of Ice

Heart of ice
set ablaze
with fires of passion
melting, creating
tears and round drops of sweat
for such ecstasy
is to be not felt
by a mortal
't is fit for the Eternal
't is made for the Perfect.

Heart of ice
set aside
your caution, your pride
do not bother with consequences
rush in, be a fool
surrender to bits and pieces
of reality
for you are not alone

Palace of Ice

Palace of ice
entraping
enholding
tears of tomorrow
hope for eternal bliss
peaceful
confused
waiting for the key

to unlock its gates
and set love free.
I shall remember you

I shall remember you
every time the wind caresses my face...
I shall remember you
every time I hear soft whispering
and bell-like laughter of children...
I shall remember you
every time I hear the bitter-sweet melody
that you used to hum ...
I shall remember you
every time a wave hits the shore ...
I shall remember you
in joy and sorrow
in bliss and passion ...
I shall remember you
because even though you are gone,
you are never forgotten ...

For ChainDog

Your soldiers have fought enough .
Their blood is stained,
Their mind impure,
Their soul shattered to pieces .

You put a gun
In the hands of a 16 year old
And ordered him to fire;
Fire at his father .

You took away youth,
Tried to make men;
Made monsters instead .

You imposed silence.
Imposed a lack of words
To say to a widow mother
When her "brave" son died;
Died by the hand of his childhood friend

You made them what they are today .
Hords of nameless faces .
Pawns in your fight against their humanity .
Butterfly

Powdery wings
move with desperation.
"It burns"
butterfly screams.
But it is still enchanted
by the glow.
Ah the glow,
the warm beauty...
I turn off the light
Now the butterfly
is free
to fly off.
But it stays
melancholically
looking for the light...

Night

Nightingale's sweet song
echoes through the woods.
Doe dances under the moonlight,
while Rabbit hops in the clearing,
and Fox rustles in the bushes.
Wee Ones giggle and tease Toad,
and Unicorn enjoys Wind
caressing his mane.
Bear grunts looking for berries,
and Badger shuffles about.
Mermaids splash their fins.
along with Fish,
Dryads shyly peek through leaves,
and Nymphs comb their hair.
Wolf smiles at Moon and howls,
Owl ponders at meaning of life,
and Mouse nibbles
on a piece of cheese.
Dwarves rest from day's hard work,
Elves play tricks on cattle and men,
Leprechauns feast and rejoice,
Pixies ride on horses,
or plow Farmer's fields.
Willow plays with Wind,
Oak tells tales of long ago,
Daisy basks in Moonlight.
Puck plays his flute,
Oberon waltzes with Titania,
and Pan kisses Selena (Moon).
It is night and everything is beautiful.

Missing you ...

Sometimes I wish
the world would stop turning
for a second,
for eternity.
I would hold you
and caress your hair
and gently hum
a beautiful memory.

Sometimes I wish
the world would stop turning
for everyone but us.
We would watch the sunrise
and kiss
as the rays of sun
enveloped our bodies
in warmth.

Sometimes I wish
the world would stop turning
for a second,
for eternity.
We could let our passion
run free
and feel inotxicated
from sweet nectar of love.

Sometimes I wish
the world would stop turning
for everyone but us.
I would love you
and respect you
and look into your eyes
... forever ...
