FAQ - Will I have to testify in court?

No! The burden is on the Landlord to prove his expenses. In addition, you, or your representative, won�t be alone -- all tenants refusing this year�s increase will be heard together. While you have a right to speak at this hearing, you have no obligation to do so. It will then boil down to numbers.
