Yeah, that's me.

I work with UBS at the UBS captive service centre in Hyderabad, India. Before joining UBS, I worked with Hewitt Associates, India for 2 years as a Management Consultant.

I completed my Post-Graduation from XLRI, Jamshedpur, India, specialising in Personnel Management and Industrial Relations (trying to be the next Catbert).

I hail from the beautiful city of Hyderabad, the IT capital of India. My family consists of my Parents and my younger brother. Been walking this Earth 28 years (born: 29 Jan 1978; in case you are interested). Had more than an education at the best school in town, The Hyderabad Public School, and then completed my B.Com (Honors) course from Osmania University.

Worked for 3 months in the International Marketing Group at Satyam Computer Services Ltd. (Job Profile: getting paid to surf the net). I then quit to study for the plethora of competitive exams that plague any young person in India. After those three months of pure, unadulterated, torture, I joined NIIT Ltd. (one of India's top IT Education providers) for another six months of pure, unadulterated, torture. Finally, I got a call from XLRI, to join the HR programme, studied there from 1999 to 2001, then got placed in Polaris Software Lab. I sweated it out for approximately five months in Chennai (literally & figuratively) and then decided the the IT dream was over, for me at least. So I quit. And landed a job (tough ask, in these difficult times) at ICICI Prudential Life Insurance India's leading private life insurance company, in October 2001 at their Mumbai corporate office.

Worked there till November 2003, two wonderful years in Mumbai, then got bit by the consulting bug, joined Hewitt, spent two years based out of Gurgaon, but travelling to all parts, and then joined UBS.

I guess you must have gotten a fair idea by now of my interests and activities, but let's flog the dead horse for a few more kicks. I'm quite heavily into quizzing, reading (just about anything, from classics to cyberpunk), sports (mainly NBA Basketball, Cricket, Tennis, Football and F1 Racing). I am an afficionado of western classical music, and my favorites are Pachelbel (his "Canon in D" is a masterpiece), Beethoven, Liszt, Mozart and Tchaikovsky.

I am a fairly serious biker, with a solo-trip from Mumbai to Hyderabad as my major achievement so far. My pride and joy is a July 2003 model metallic electric-blue Royal Enfield Thunderbird, 350 cc whose name is "Babe".

I guess that covers most of it. If you should feel the urge to get in touch with me, please contact your physician and if the symptoms persist even after that, e-mail me at:
