Hats for the Homeless (http://www.hats4thehomeless.org/index.html)   Hats for the homeless is collecting NEW or HANDMADE hats, scarves, gloves, mittens, and socks - for distribution, the weekend before Christmas, to the homeless in New York City.  If you would like to help please send your new or handmade donation to the address below – wrapping your gift will be helpful – but is not required.  It would also be nice to include a note  with each item wishing the recipient a Happy Holiday Season / Merry Christmas / Happy Hanukah / Happy Kwanza / Season’s Greetings (or whatever you feel is appropriate) from a homeschooling family (or public) participant with H.E.A.R.T.S.
