Most popular online communities will have a ton of clubs or boards to choose from. For example if you search for scrapbooking or stamping on Yahoo there are over 300 communities. Basically these communities are forums for exchanging information and swapping material. Some of my favorite online communities are:

This group works through e-mails. They have many groups for all kinds of scrapbookers and rubber stampers.
Expo's are a great place to see the latest scrapbooking supplies, meet vendors and give them feedback on their products, do "Make and Take's", take classes, meet up with other club members and get some great deals on products.
The overexposed scrapbook expo was held at the Puyallup fairgrounds this past April, their next expo will be held in August of 2001. There web site is
