So it will also depend on what you throw on it or how high the speed of the air or rain is.The tides produce an alternate rise and fall.  The gravity of the moon and the sun causes the tides and depending where it is at it will change it's position.  A spring tide is when the moon and the sun are in the same perpendicular line.The spring tide happens twice a month, and it is when the sun pulls.  A neap tide is when the moon is only perpendicular. A high tides is where the water is covering mostly everything, a low tide is when it does not cover a lot. The spring tide has a higher tide.
