You might be flattered if I told you I liked you,
but what would you say if I told you
I loved you?
You might say I was wrong...
You might say I don't really know you...
You might say nothing at all...
You might say it back...
But then again, you might say you're not ready for that.
And I might be wrong, but I doubt it...
And I may not know it all, but I know my heart...
And I wouldn't blame you if you said nothing at all,
but I might wonder, might worry...
And you don't even have to say it back, but I won't object...
But then again, maybe I'm not ready for that.
