Back to the Grove

Waiting for Sunrise

Twenty-five copper wishes
     And countless crystal tears
Diamonds in the distance
     And coal throughout the years

Roses in the mailbox
     And ice within the breeze
Rainbows in the raindrops
     And buds upon the trees

Music drowns the hurting
     And tender words can heal
'Til bitterness is sweetened
     And dreams become what's real

Hope shines in the moonlight
And Truth will light the way
Faith sustains the weary
And Love will light the day
