| Name: Ike Original Name: Chipper Date Whelped: June 19, 1997 Breed: Pomeranian Color: Red Sable How we got Ike: Ike came to us on August 6, 2003. Our neighbor had found him on August 3rd tangled in his bushes. Ike was staying with us until we found his owner because my neighbor has 4 cats and no fence around his yard. We found his owner on August 9th and she came to pick him up. She saw how attached we are to him and gave him to us! |

| Ike gets loose: On August 10th at approx. 11:45 p.m. I let Ike out the back to do his business. Unfortunately, 1 of the gates were open and he took off. I didn't think of checking the gates because the day we got Ike, my dad shut them all and told us not to use them. I walked the neighborhood several times throughout the night, whistling and calling his name. I finally gave up at about 4:00 a.m. and decided there was nothing I could do until the sun came up. At about 6:30 a.m. I took a walk to his old owner's house, took 3 steps into the driveway, whistled and called his name and he came running. I was sooooo happy!! |
