WES CRAVEN'S NEW NIGHTMARE

31: In Heather's dream, CHARLES (the actual prop designer on the NOES films) is slashed when the robot-like glove he was making for the new Nightmare On Elm Street film comes alive. He is slashed in the chest by the Freddy glove. Later, we find out that Charles and Terry were actually found dead.

32:  In Heather's dream, TERRY (the actual prop designer on the NOES films) is slashed when the robot-like glove he was making for the new Nightmare On Elm Street film comes alive. He is slashed in the neck by the Freddy glove. Later, we find out that Terry and Charles were actually found dead.

33: CHASE is Heather's husband and, after getting a call from her saying he should stop working on the glove for the secret new Nightmare On Elm Street film ad come home due to a number of earthquakes. Chase is on the way home when the robotic glove from the NOES set crawls out of his bag and slashes him through his stomach.

34: JULIE was the babysitter for Heather's son and tried to stop the nurses at the hospital from giving him a sleeping injection whilst Heather was being questioned. She failed and Dylan starts to feel drowsy. He dreams Freddy into the real world and a force (unseen by Julie but seen by Dylan) slashes Julie in the back. Freddy, unseen in the real world, drags Julie up the wall and across the ceiling, leaving a bloody streak, just like Tina's killing in the original Nightmare On Elm Street. Freddy finally tires and breaks her neck, letting her fall to the floor.

Heather Langenkamp is the main character in this film as well as her son Dylan and they are the survivors (as well as Robert Englund, Wes Craven and John Saxon) of the story, too.

Freddy's 'death': Dylan is dragged into the dream world by Freddy and Heather follows him. They both end up being chased by the new scarier Freddy through the boiler-room. Heather gets stuck in the sticky stairs (as in NOES) and tells Dylan to run. Dylan can only hide in the furnace and so he climbs in and sticks by the side. Freddy appears and tries to grab Dylan. He eventually tries to eat him whole but Heather breaks free and attacks Freddy. Freddy then turns on Heather but together, they manage to push Freddy into the furnace (ala Hansel and Gretal) and kill him.
