IMPORTANT CIRCULAR TO GENERAL AND TEAM MEMBERS

Dear Students,

Ossu.

1.      Please note that there will be no classes or training conducted at the Dojo, (The School, Sector 34, NOIDA), from Wednesday, January 26, 2005. Classes will resume again on Wednesday, February 09, 2005.

2.      Every year, students of our Dojo get the privileged opportunity to represent the state at the All India Championships… and over the years, many of them have tasted the glory of being crowned ‘National Champions’. However, what many people fail to understand is that there is always a price to pay. That ‘price’ starts and ends with commitment and effort… first towards one’s self, then towards one’s Sensei, and finally towards one’s Team!! It saddens me to see for myself, and be told by others, that many of this year’s team members are looking at this trip as a holiday. If this is true, then Happy Holidays!

3.      It seems that many people have missed out on the message I attempted to convey in the letter I wrote to all the Team members on January 06, 2005. Hence, I shall let your opponents define it to you in their own way/s.

4.      For those of you who have, so far, put your heart, mind and soul into this endeavour… please continue to do so… it isn’t over yet!! Thank your parents for understanding the importance of commitment, respect and honour. If, over the past few weeks, life has been miserable, thank them again for continuing to push you without accepting or inventing any excuses… for that is how you will learn to become a victor in life.

5.      Please find details of the venue & schedule of the tournament, and what to carry (packing-list),  on the Dojo website:  www.geocities.com/noidakarate - to be updated by Jan 25, 2005

I look forward to meeting all team members at Bamboo Motels after finishing off the day’s events on February 02, 2005. It is your responsibility to equip yourself with the appropriate apparatus and attitude, which is imperative to success… not only in this endeavour, but in your life as a Karateka!

Looking forward to your very best… I will expect and accept nothing less!

Ossu!!

Yours in Karatedo,

Neeraj Dhawan
