DOJO CIRCULAR
Dear Student,
Ossu.
Let me start by wishing you and your family a very happy new year… filled with good health, success and harmony.
I would like to welcome all the new students into our Dojo… I hope you will study hard and become a better person by applying into your life, what you learn at the Dojo.
Many of you who are on the State Team for the 22nd National Championships to be held in Goa next month, must have started to realize the importance of regular, correct, hard and diligent practice… there are no short-cuts!!!
As many of the usual members of our Team are not participating this time, we have a lot of new entries. So, ‘Good Luck!’ to them. I would like each one of this year’s Team Members to remember that it took us many years of hard, arduous training; relentless attempts at competitions; repetitive failure; agonizing pain; over-flowing heart-ache; countless disappointments… and all other things that come with them… to help us reach where we are today. Your seniors have done their bit, and if they continue to train, they will also continue to uplift the standards and reputation of our Dojo. However, it is your job now… to do your best! For the next 3 weeks, training will only get harder… so you must be prepared to face each training session as a tournament match… and come out of it as a winner!! If you do so, then I promise you that you would already have won the Gold before leaving for Goa!!
I am grateful for the support of all the other members of our Dojo, who train quietly, without competition. I am also indebted to the parents and family members of my students for their enthusiasm, because they play a very big role in keeping the flame alive. Thank you!
Let us step forth with the vision, courage and effort to make our parents, teachers and country proud!!
JAI HIND & GOD BLESS US ALL!!
Yours in Faith & Karatedo,
Neeraj Dhawan
