| Driving Directions to the Matinecock Masonic Historical Society From points east and west on the Long Island Expressway (I-495), take exit 41 North to Route 106 North. Follow Route 106 into the Hamlet of Oyster Bay where it becomes South Street. Turn left at the second intersection onto West Main Street. The builing is on the right at 14 West Main St. between Snouder's Drug Store (on the corner) and Raynham Hall Museum. PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN THE REAR OF THE BUILDING. | By train - Long Island Railroad Matinecock Masonic Historical Society at 14 West Main Street is only a 6-minute walk from the Oyster Bay Train Station. From the platform, walk due south to Shore Avenue. Walk east along Shore Avenue which becomes Audrey Ave. Turn right onto South Street and walk up to West Main Street. Turn right again. Matinecock Masonic Historical Society is the second building on the right. Local and express trains run regularly between Penn Station (NYC) and Oyster Bay Station seven days a week. | FREE Parking in Oyster Bay Hamlet There is free parking available in three (3) town lots in close proximity to the MMHS: one adjacent to Matinecock Lodge on West Main Street (across from Verrelli's Market), the second is directly across the street from the lodge next to Oceanic House, and the third is off Church Street, (across from the Doubleday Babcock Senior Center.) The OB-EN Library also has it's own lot at 89 East Main Street. |
