Brief History: A fan site dedicated to the Street Fighter series of video games with hopes of adding as much content as possible. However some sound fx and fan art were mostly what was hosted. There was also a (not-so) secret banner under the main page's graphic that when clicked allowed visitors to play the original arcade version of Street Fighter in a seperate window. In 1999 the creator had deleted all the content of SF:WoW and instead directed visitors to another created site called Super Saiya-jin 5's Page of Themes on Xoom. That second site took requests for making custom Windows Desktop themes for visitors free of charge. He never went back and re-activated the Street Fighter site after that.
Sadly the SF:WoW site was not saved, even by Alexa for The Internet Archive Wayback Machine, nor is discoverable in its original form anywhere on the net as of this posting. The only remnant is a page that announces its shutting down and the creator working on a new one that was moved to another server (Xoom that redirected to Go.com Homepages).
Fortunately a chunk of the images that were used on the SF:WoW site were saved in a seperate folder on the creator's HD and even a .txt file with some original HTML from one page so that all was not completely lost. Besides the re-uploading of old Geocities and Guestworld Guestbook graphics/ads along with the new player for the main page's music and footer disclaimer with link, what is posted now is, in the majority, a recollection of what the site was like when it was active online.
