Nottingham City Schools

Approximately 1000 members within the Branch are employed in schools across Nottingham City.  The majority of these members are employed as Teaching Assistants,  Admin staff, caretakers etc, who carry out support

Nottingham City Homes

Almost 300 members within our Branch are employed by Nottingham City Homes. Nottingham City Homes was created in April 2005 as an Arms Length Management Organisation (ALMO) to manage Nottingham City Council's rented and leasehold homes.  Our members provide council tenants with services including repairs, allocations and lettings, fighting anti-social behaviour, and advice and guidance on rent and dealing with debt.

Community, Voluntary and Private Sector Organisations

Over 1100 members within our Branch work within this ever increasing sector. The types of organisations this includes are major housing associations, national charities, local community groups and private care providers. Our Branch employs a Community and Voluntary Sector Organiser and we are steadily increasing the number of workplace stewards employed in this sector to provide advice and guidance to members.
