NPNet Policies & Guidelines

All students are to familiarise themselves with the NPNet policies, IT Security and Usage guidelines below.

It is important to check for Microsoft Windows Updates (IE browser -> Tools -> Windows Update) at least once a week to patch your computer. Unpatched systems are vulnerable to internet attacks.

If you have not installed Antivirus or updated your Antivirus, please do so. Antivirus help to protect your system against virus attacks and spyware. You may check with your departmental IT Helpdesk with regards to installing Antivirus for your student notebook.
