just became a reality tonite! ![]() "Friends of North Plains Skateboard Park" members, Dave & Mary Stocker, Leona Atkinson and Glen & Kathleen Warren, along with City Council members and former Mayor Cheri Olsen look on as Mike Broome, President of "Friends of North Plains Skateboard Park" presents a check in the amount of $20,575.00 to Clay Nored of Recreation Services, Inc. to purchase the equipment needed to put in place a skateboard park in one of the current basketball areas at Jesse May Park as previously approved by the City Council. Mr. Nored said the equipment should arrive in about 6 weeks and will be installed by the City. The "Friends" would like to thank everyone who donated in some way to make this possible. |
