| Excelsior Kings Pictures is a small production company based in Manchester and founded by my friend Stephen Whittaker in June 2002. So far our work has been the production of several short films, of which I directed one ITCH, and wrote, directed and produced another CHESS. Together with other members of the company based in Manchester, Sheffield ( with myself in the Cardiff area) we are outting the finishing touches to the portfolio of small production work to help fund our first major production to go into development in summer 2003. | Welcome to my website. This website is about me and the work I do. I'm a 21 year old writer looking for agents to take me on as a client. More then that, I'm also an actor, director and am currently involved in several projects to help develop my career. On the right is a list of the areas I'm involved in. Excelsior Kings Pictures is a small production company based in Manchester which I am helping to get started. Our aim is to make our first feature film this summer, and so far I have already written, directed and produced in two short films for the company. I have been writing since I was very young (I wrote a rough six chapters of a fantasy novel when I was just ten years old!) and have been working on the GOBLINGOD SAGA since the age of thirteen, a five book fantasy saga which I have been attempting to get published now. In the last five years I have also been working on several theatre and television scripts. My latest project is an eight episode sitcom based on the world of a fast food resturant imaginativelt titled WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT? I am looking to get this made for television too, a medium I hope to have a successful career in. There is tons more to look at on this site. On the right you can click on and review some of the work I have already done, see the productions I have been involved in over the years as actor, director and technical. | As much as this site is about me and the work I'm involved in, its a chance to show people, particularly friends and family the life I have had so far and the people I have met during my childhood, at college, at university and during my travels. | The Goblingod Saga is my main project of work that has been in development since I was 13. It is a 5 book fantasy series, inpsired by love of J.R.R Tolkein, Robert Jordan and Terry Brooks amongst others. The first two novels have been completed and I have completed early drafts of the other three. I have also written a new fantasy novel, set in the same world as the Goblingod and am developing a sequel. As an unpublished writer I am currently working on getting this new book published, and its eventual sequel in the hope that I will eventually see the Goblingod published. | WOULD YOU LIKE FRIES WITH THAT? is an eight episode sitcom I am currently working on. Set in a busy fast food resturant, it centres around the lives of its staff and is my first major comedy. Taken from my own experiences as a crew member and floor manager of a certain big fast food chain for three and a half years, my aim for this series is to be a satire of the real horrors of the job. Akin to the office in that I am attempting to show how funny real life is but with an exaggerated hilarity I hope have the first series written by summer 2004. | I have had a love of drama since a young age and have continued that love through my education to my degree. This journal is all about the work I have done, the productions I have been involved, mainly as an actor, and over the last couple of years, as a director and technical assisstant. From my early school roles as Ratty from Toad of Toad Hall, to my directed productions of Antigone and Macbeth at university, I hope you enjoy this insight into my world.
