Welcome to My New & Improved Website So, I'm working on it. Just like anything else I'm involved in...it takes awhile...especially this website thing. But, now I've got some hours to pass by in the mornings and maybe I can use this to keep myself occupied...at least for awhile. Happy Thanksgiving! So, Talina and I had a really great "Early Thanksgiving" last night. If you want to see all the fun photos, you should read her blog! Anyways, we had a really nice day together, started making some Christmas decorations and then topped it all off with a really really good Thanksgiving dinner. Mmmm. Talina baked Pumpkin Cheesecake and we were so stuffed, we didn't even get to that. So, I think tonight we'll dig into the dessert and maybe start decorating for Christmas. By the way, 30-more shopping days left....EEEEK! This afternoon, I drove Talina down to work. On my way back up...I had one of the most ironic moments happen. I was just north of Fry Canyon on the 89-A (about 15 minutes from Flagstaff) when I saw this big flock of birds on the other side of the barbed wire fence near the highway. I slowed down to look and it looked like a flock of wild turkeys. I ended up turning around and going back, pulled over and got out of the car with my camera phone. Sure enough, it was a flock of about 30 wild turkeys. I ended up crunching some leaves on my approach to take a picture and then all ended up running back up into the trees...gobbling all the way. It was hilarious! It was like they were stationed by the side of the road...watching all the travelers on their way to break bread at a table where one of their brothers lay...roasted.
