Joining the Cadet Display
Team

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
To be eligible to join the Cadet Display Team, you
must:
- be a member of a Nova Scotia Sea, Army or
Air Cadet corps or Squadron
- be physically fit
- be recommended by your Commanding Officer
- have the permission of your
parent/guardian
|
|
|
|
|
The rest is easy:
- attend a tryout/practice (see the
tryouts/practice
page for the dates, times and places for the 2002 tryouts)
- it is not necessary for your parent or guardian to come down with
you, but they are more than welcome to come down and meet the staff,
ask us any questions they might have and see what we do each
tryout/practice
- like any organization there is some paperwork to be filled out,
but we'll take you through it step by step. The paperwork
required includes:
- remember that you will need to be
proficient in drill, both stationary (at the halt) and drill on the
march
- lastly, a positive attitude is
essential
