After being framed for running over Commissioner Pearcey he was fired. But after Boulder gave evidence showing that it wasn't Mad Dog, he was re-instated. In his first PPV back, he got a title shot, but just came up short as Gravedigga stole the victory. He earned another title shot at NSWF Reload, and proved what a great competitor he is by winning the Championship in a 3-way match against Jester and Punisher.
