Burger's Lake, west Fort Worth, TX 817-737-3414
Carpool Info: Gary Blankenship, 214-887-9225.

No, we're not dancing at a lake.
Member Gary Blankenship has been organizing a summer picnic at Burger's Lake for years. This is a lovely spot on the west side of Fort Worth. It is a large spring-fed natural "swimming hole" with a sand bottom, and a sand beach on two sides. Huge cottonwood trees provide shade. Gary likes to go early, but most people go in early afternoon and hang out until ??? Gary will try to arrange carpools.
Hours: 9am to 7:30pm   Admission is $10 for adults. Children under 7 are free.
Ice chests are allowed, but NO GLASS and NO ALCOHOL.
