Panther 14U White, Qualifies For Nationals

The Panther 14u White team won the Memorial Day Classic, qualifying for the Pony Nationals to be held in Sterling Virginia this coming July with a 3-0 record.
The Panthers blanked the Freehold Tornadoes White 8-0 behind Nicole Pignatelli's three-hit pitching, upended the Long Island Chargers 8-1 as Pignatelli allowed only four hits, and edged the Freehold Tornadoes Black 5-4 as Amanda Sosa smacked a two-run double with two outs in the seventh. Tara Ciccione had five hits, Amanda Grasso had for hits, and Amanda Sosa also had four hits on the day.
