NCC Central Hub This is the very center of New Crystal City and serves as the gateway to the other areas. There are spires that reach up high into the sky and domes that crouch down low to the ground, facilities constructed purely of transparent materials, and even tunnels that travel into the ground. Vast sky-roads loom overhead, providing access to many of the buildings in a mad crisscross pattern. Among the buildings one can access from the central hub are the gleaming crystal dome-like command center, the hardy bunker-like medical ward, and the huge metal Coliseum-inspired arena. The various roadways travel to other parts of the city, including a decrepit sky-road that plunges underground to the dungeon, a wide low road to the residential plaza, a short bridge that travels to the elevated spaceport, and a twisting, winding maze of a street that leads out to the coastline. Contents: Trypticon Sensor4 The Powerbase Soundwave emerges from the city that is Trypticon. Soundwave has arrived. Soundwave appears beneath the giant blast door of Trypticon's main entrance and slowly strides down the ramp, his optical band fixed on a data-pad in one hand. Comcast shifts suddenly as he heards Soundwave approach. His optics meet those of his fellow Decepticon. "Soundwave," he says as a means of greeting. He is still not in the best of moods, after finding out the origin of Cyclonus, Scourge, and Galvatron. Soundwave slowly comes to a halt and finishes the section he is reading before letting his gaze travel upwards to take in the seeker. The tape commander is nothing if not perceptive, and he catches the undertone of hostility in Comcast's greeting. "Comcast... do you wish to explain your attitude voluntarily or shall I move on to more direct measures at once?" You paged Reflector with 'Hey there.'. Comcast sighs heavily. "Frustration. So much has changed since the days with Megatron, and I am having a hard time following even the events that have occured this past quarter-vorn," he says, speaking the truth, without going into too many details. "But I have a small project to keep me busy now," he says slightly less gloomy. "Tell me, have you or any of your.. charges, I suppose is the right term, done any formal research into the most popular television programs of this planet? Soundwave pauses for a moment as he searches the massive data bank he passes off as a memory core before responding. "A few brief surveys investigating possible propaganda uses, but nothing beyond that. Why? And to what changes do you refer?" Comcast casually mentions "So many things.. the interaction with these human creature to begin with. As for the television information, I have already mentioned on an all-Decepticon broadcast my thoughts on infiltrating the Junkions with propoganda-based television, and I was hoping you could provide some help." Soundwave shakes his head. "My own studies into the possibilites of this field have revealed a less than favorable probable cost/reward ratio. Junkions are far too unpredictable to respond consistently to such a stratagem." Comcast tries not to look annoyed as to why Soundwave didn't tell him this information several earth days ago. "Was it ever actually implemented? Reflector seems to think it has potential merit.." Soundwave stares at Comcast. The recently activated seeker's annoyance is all to palpable to the telepath. "No it wasn't. As I have stated, I deemed it to be of little value. And Reflector, for his part, is eager to push anything that will restore Galvatron's faith in him. I do not consider his judgement sound." Comcast's morale drops like a rock. And here he was thinking he was coming up with something to help the faction. "I see..." he says, quietly. Soundwave regards Comcast for a moment longer before making a decision. "Regardless, my initial studies may now be overly aged. You have my permission to pursue this matter further if you see fit. However, I want a full and complete analysis of the potential uses before you begin to develop any type of practical plan. Propaganda can be a useful tool to the Empire, but it has a double-edged status to it as well. I do not want to see us play the fool on the global stage." Comcast tries to hide his joy at being entrusted with this task. It obviously fails. "I will begin comprehensive studies, Soundwave. I assure you only the most accurate information." Comcast turns and leaves to begin further research in the area.
