Obtaining an overseas absentee ballot is simple.  The following hyperlink takes you to a page at Federal Voting Assistance Programme website that provides links to each state’s board of elections, secretary of state, or registrar of voters.

Click on the link to the state in which you last resided before leaving the United States.  If you registered to vote in that state before leaving the United States, even if you never voted there, you can cast an absentee ballot in the next general election simply by requesting that a ballot be sent to you.
