So, 1 week of playing Gran Turismo and I've managed to complete the beginner's level of the game, get 2 driving licenses and discover, thanks to some Googling, an easy racing track that pays massive win credits and rewards wins with a valuable car to sell.

Going to the garage, I am informed that I am 3.6% of the way through the game, having played for 370 Gran Turismo days.  I guess by the time I finish the game I'll be shown wearing a flat cap, with a tin of Wether's Originals on the dashboard.

Seeing the progress meter made me consider if I'd like one of these in real life - maybe built into the alarm clock so that every night you go to bed you see your life slowly eroding away.

Based on my predicted date of death from The Death Clock  (October 21 2056) I'm just a shade over 40% of the way through my life.

I don't know whether to be depressed that 2/5ths of my life has gone or use this as a motivator to do something with the next 50 years of my life.  I am of course assuming that because I've just seen it on the internet it must be true.

I've not done a poll on a blog yet, so I think I'll give it a go!
