Custom Weight Lifting Apparel
by  Ginny
Hi, I'm Ginny and for those who are interested, this is just an info site to explain a bit about myself and what I do.
My ancestors wintered on a local island in 1604..(just teasing) I won't get into all that....... I live in Canada, but grew up in Maine.  I work there on occasion and commute almost daily.  I still have family in Maine as in many other states and I keep an address there.  My remaining family here in Canada are my son and two daughters plus all my in-laws.

St. Croix Island is the thin strip of land in front of the Canadian mainland
I learned to sew as a child, but have been working in the sewing industry for over 30 years.  I did factory work as a sewer, then on to training and management. Later my husband and I set up factories for other companies.
I have my own shop now and up until a few years ago, made track suits, jackets, sweat pants and items along this line for local teams and groups.  I also make other "fun things" for friends and family.
fleece jackets
fleece lined 3 tone nylon
clown tuxedo
leather top and g string
I wanted to be at home more so I started taking on work with the goal of eventually working solely from home.
A local power lifter called and needed something strong that wouldn't rip out under a lot of stress.  He was trying to squat over 1000 lbs.
I had some remnants of canvas  that we had used for reinforcing insulated firemans suits and he asked me to build him a suit out of that.  Notice I said "build"?  It was like working with cardboard. It might have been easier working with a skill saw and rivet gun, but I got through it and it held for him.
I now use various fabrics, depending on the needs of the lifter.  I also have just started making bench shirts, but again, the style and materials I use depend on the lifters input.
no side seams
with poly V sides
bench shirt, double denium
