We have now been in the Chicagoland area for 5 1/2 years! Where has the time gone! We have been very fortunate in meeting some great people that have become lifelong friends. Here is what is going on with us most recently.
John is no longer with GE. He had the opportunity to go to work for a smaller, private company as their CFO. He is now working on his CPA!!
Jessica took the CPA Exam in Nov. of 2003 and failed to condition by 4 points so has decided to take a break from studying and to regroup. She has become very involved in the children's schools, church and numerous volunteer activities. Not mention full time taxi driver for the children and all of their activities.
Thomas has just turned 12 and is going in the 7th grade. He is very active with golf ad baseball. He is playing in a few golf tournaments this summer as well as Majors baseball. He was the #1 draft pick for baseball this year. We are so proud of him and his athletic achievements.
Rebecca is now 9. (Going on 13!) She will be in 4th grade this year! She audtitioned for Performing Group at her dance studio and made the team last year so she has been busy with show conventions, competitions, and a whole week of recitals. She is quite the dancer.
All in all, we have adjusted to Chicago life. We miss all of our friends and family and enjoy catching up when we can. Please email us, and we will write back.
