Along the eastern coast of Florida, midway between the home of the Daytona 500 International Speedway and the quaint old city of St. Augustine, lies one of the most beautiful pristine counties in the state. With our uncrowded beaches, historic ruins, public rose gardens, tranquil waterways, and subtropical forests, the ever-changing Atlantic Ocean, freshwater lakes, seven championship golf courses, tennis, unlimited water sports, and the World's oldest marine attraction, Flagler County has something for everyone who visits. For those who choose to make it their home - well, most would say, "It's paradise!"

 Princess Place Preserve is the crown jewel of Flagler County's preserves. This beautiful 1505 acre preserve is located at the confluence of Pellicer Creek, Moody Creek, and the Matanzas River. The preserve features salt and freshwater marshes, hardwood hammocks, uplands pine forests, and oak scrub. Unique to this preserve is the Princess Place Lodge. The restored lodge, built in 1887, is the oldest standing structure in Flagler County.
