Fuaim means Sound

Fuaim is pronounced "foom" and means sound in Gaelic. Fuaim was originally released in 1982 under Tara Records. It was re re;eased in 1993 with a biography of the band by Atlantic Records.
This is Clannads Benchmark Album, The transition from Acoustic to a more electronic sound. In Fuaim the Unique Clannad sound has matured and come into bloom. Fuaim is the bridgepoint between the traditional style of Dulaman and Crann Ull and the Haunting Newage/ pop style of Sirius and Anum.
