As you can tell I no longer want to deal with the other makes of truck. I have had problems with the other models. I am down to two none chevy vehicles. 1) '74 Mazda Rotory pick-with a '68 shelby v-8 & 2) 1980 Dodge chassy 32' Motorhome. My other pride nd joys are a 1969 Camaro w/327 pushing 350hp & 1996 Camaro w/ 3800 v6 fully loaded. I feel the coolest & most comfortable in the trucks of course. Enough about me. I've been searching the web for old truck pages and I've finally found one to come back to every week. Great job you should be proud!!!!!

Small lifts with 15X10 wheels and 33s looks tough, and 35s put serious strain on the power. The truck is a driven daily and looks good. We repainted it this summer.

Your web page is great! I own a 72 Cheyanne super fleet-side half ton pickup with the wooden bed. It is a 4X4 equiped with a 400 small bloc, automatic transmission, and 4:10 gears. I spent this summer replacing the wood in the bed and refinishing the t uck. Now I plan to put a lift on the truck. My truck is in your reader's pic's, it's bronze w/ a white roof, I'm waving and smiling at the camera. Unfortuneately our truck doesn't look that good anymore, there's been lots done to it since this photo was taken. It now has 3/4 ton suspension, front and rear, a 1986 454 w/ turbo 400 tranny, new doors, hood, grill and too many other things to list. In November it's going into the garage for more restoration. Next year it will get it's new paint job. By the way since I submitted our photo we've joined the "Curry County Cruisers" car club and our truck was officially shown off, the catagory was "In Progress" it was great, the club raised over $5,000 for Muscular distrophy (MDA). talk to you later, Ray & Phyllis Cobb.

Love your truck. Mine's blue too. Bought it at auction three years ago from a retired farmer who got ticked off at his kids squabbling over his stuff before he was even dead! He'd had her since new, with 62 thousand original miles. And everything on h r is original (except for the thermostat -- it was date stamped Dec 67 and finally gave up the ghost last winter). I overhauled the original 250-6 six months ago and am now setting up for body restoration. She sure turns heads, though, even now. Love y ur site!

Nie truck, and a nie page, I'm 14 years old, and just recently my dad bought me a 69' Chevy C/10 Pickup to restore for when I was old enough to drive. This 1972 Custom Camper was purchesed by my father in Victorville California late 1971 and he kept it in origional condition until he passed away in 1997 I picked it up from my mother in 1999 and drove it to Oklahoma with out any trouble I plan to keep it in origional condition. The 350 4bolt engine was rebilt after 680000 miles he figured it needed it. Now it has 694000 miles. This truck is truley why they call them a ROCK.

Great site. Glad I found it. Couldn't backtrack to tell you HOW I got here. I think it was "The Maniac"?? My 68 will be going under the knife here in a few months. A ground-up resto on a beer budget. Not too bad really. Just the rocker panels and t e drivers door need replaced. My uncle owns a body shop a few miles from my house. He owes me a few favors. (Insert big evil grin here)

My next project,gut my perfectly running '85 chevy 4x4, use the running gear, streach the frame, drop a 400ci in front of the 700r4,add 2 foot of cab to my old '71 GMC, leave the wood floor long bed as-is, and some how glue it all back together, been thre tnin to do it for 5 years now, got everything I need to make it happen, planing to start next fall.

I'm now in the restoration process. Just had the frame blasted, new springs installed. I built a 402 to power my bow tie. It's a ground up job. It's taking more time and money than i thought but it will be well worth it when it's complete.

My Chev has a 307 small block V8 with a heavy duty 4 speed...Hanes repair manual said it has pto cover on it....but no pto shaft do you know what the availability on this trany...trany motor setup was in the #'s... also availability on side markers witho t lamps in them...this truck is dates around 11-2?-67 sold new for 2,600 made in Janesville Wisconsin to KIZZER Chevrolet in NEBRASKA the # of the lot is 8861 also on the door pillar tag their is code letters that say CE148 but below that their is two DD hat do these D"s mean? thank you

The 69 is a work truck and am thinking of fixing up the 68 GMC from frame up. It belonged to a friends dad and has only 28k miles. It is a 6 cyl standard but I added P.S. and Power brakes. May go with automatic trans and add A.C. also. Unique thing, it ha leaf springs on back. That was an option.
