Araby has had a long and twisted history. It is a land
of pleasure for the ruling class, but it can be inhospitable to those who are not prepared
for its harsh climate. The empire of Araby has come under attack many times by the
other kingdoms of mankind, and has endured many crusades, but still it keeps its place
amid the southern deserts. With the undead presenting another deadly threat and so
near to Araby, the armies of the desert empire must always be prepared for war. As an Araby player you must be very careful and use all the various parts of your army together, in a highly coordinated plan. You don't have 'super' troops that can win the alone for you, so your units must work together and support each other to defeat the enemy. Your army will be mostly cavalry with infantry support. Nothing can be left to chance, because if you allow your opponent to conduct the battle on his terms you will likely face defeat. On the other hand, if you learn to use it well, an Araby army makes a fine and balanced force, which is fun to collect and can be extremely powerful on the battlefield. |
