There he is...The love of my life...hehe...See that Scooby Doo doll in his hands??? Well, I got that for him...*nods*...I have to admit, this picture really doesn't do him justice...His eyes are absolutely INCREDIBLE...Now, for our love story...
Kirk and I met in a chat room called The Park and started our relationship June 3, 1999...We were flirting one night and decided to make an internet relationship which neither of us really took seriously...Anyways, months and months started to pass...We started to talk more...The relationship grew and we developed genuine feelings for each other...After a year of being a net relationship, we decided to be an exclusive long distance relationship...You can just about imagine our phone bills...hehe...Anyways, we fell in love and are planning a future together...It's all mushy and stuff but hey, it's love...Well, anyways, after a lot of hard work, Kirk made it out here over New Years of 2001 and we finally met for the first time...Not only did I meet him, but I got to meet his mom as well and she is definitely one cool lady...*nods*...Kirk met practically my entire family and they accepted him with open arms which is definitely cool...*nods*...We had a wonderful time...We went to the world famous San Diego Zoo...hehe...I'd say Kirk's favorite part was the Snake Exibit...*LMAO*...Yeah, and on New Years Eve, we played Scategories and Rummy with my best friend Jen and my cousins and stuff...It was a whole lotta fun and it really sucked to see him leave...You can just imagine how hard that was for us...Unfortunately, I didn't make it out there for his prom...Another something that was quite hard for us...I'd just like to say that my parents SUCK SHIT...*ahem*...Of course I've been moping around with a yucky attitude because I was really looking forward to seeing Kirk and I wanted to prove to everyone in Salisbury that I'm not a 50 year old black man...I guess I'll have to do it some other time...I guess I'm starting to get over it since the day has passed but I still get really bummed thinking about it...O'well...Back to happy thoughts...So yes, Kirk and I are very much in love..We may have many obstacles to overcome (like this upcoming year) but I think we'll survive...*dramatic voice*...I have the FAITH!!! *lil laugh*...But on a serious note, I really feel Kirk and I have that special, soul-mate type true love thing going on so yeah...We'll have many years of pure happiness ahead of us...

Well, Kirk left me after spending close to two weeks here...He arrived June 26th and left July 7th...We had such a wonderful time...We didn't do quite as much of touring as I would've liked to but at least I got to be with him...We did re-visit the zoo as well as went rollerskating and to a couple of baseball games...We spent most of our time lying in bed watching TV...It was still nice...I miss him so much...We really got to know each other because we spent so much time together...I can't wait to see him again...It was so hard to watch him leave...I'm so used to having him with me all the time now...We went to bed together, we woke up together...The only time we spent apart was about 3 hours while I was at dance practice one day...I love him so much and I can't wait for the day we can be together again...

I was also able to see Kirk later on for my aunt's wedding reception in St. Charles, MO...I only got to see him for the weekend of July 28...It was better than nothing considering the fact that neither of us planned for him to be there...He's not a bad dancer and to be honest, I was expecting the worst because of what he told me...He's really not that bad of a dancer, even for a white boy...hehe...We sorta had a good time...

I love this guy so much and yes, I get hounded for it all the time but I really don't give a shit...I absolutely adore him and he treats me like the goddess I'm not...I really would be lost without him and I couldn't love anyone more than I love him...Some pretty mushy shit, huh??? Well trust me, it gets worse...hehe...Kirk is perfect in every way...More so than Mary Poppins...He's funny and charming and sweet and kind and all kinds of other stuff! And isn't he a little hottie??? hehe...My baby's sexy!!! *ggls and stuff*...

Well, I've FINALLY had the pleasure of meeting Kirk's family...I flew out December 26, 2002 and returned to San Diego January 7, 2003...I had a GREAT time!!! I'll admit, it was COLD for this California girl but it was worth it! I got to ride in a tractor, see moo cows and I shot THREE guns!!! It was definitely an experience for this city girl hanging out in the country but it was fun and Kirk's family is just awesome! They made me feel right at home, although home isn't covered in snow all over the place...I'm already planning to go back during warmer weather but it's still in the works...I'll definitely be making another trip out before the year is over...So yeah, after 3 and a half years, I've FINALLY met the family...Debbie, you're still cool! *wink*
