Bongs

Vs.

Cigarettes

Smoking tobacco out of a bong is a little different from smoking Cannabis from a bong, or smoking tobacco from a pipe, or cigarette. I wouldn't recommend that you take huge hoots of straight tobacco. It is best that you hit the pipe rather lightly and go easy on the flame.

Shisha is a very aromatic, very moist tobacco low in nicotine and designed to be smoked on burning charcoal in a hookah. It is too moist to burn from just a cigarette lighter flame as is, but if  it is dried out in front of a fan, or in an oven on low heat (250'F) it will dry enough to make for a rather pleasant smoke in your Liberty Bong. It also blends well with some good quality pipe tobacco.

The bong should be able to hold a decent amount of water to filter the smoke. This is a major factor in determining how smooth the smoke will be. Ice is also a good thing to add, but watch out, as it melts it can overflow into the bowl and get your tobacco all wet.

If done properly with a good blend of tobacco and/or shisha the smoke is smooth and very tasty, much better than cigarettes in my opinion. The cost is less than cigarettes as well. Pre-packaged cigarettes are taxed at a much higher rate than any other form of tobacco. a box of shisha usually sells for about $5.00 and a good pipe tobacco shouldn't be much more than $4.00 for an ounce. Each of these is considerably more smoking material than a pack of cigarettes.
