4 Great Bands.... 4 Hours of Music.... One Great Cause!!
On December 15th, 2001 at Sweeney's Irish Pub, YOU and your friends are invited to take part in an event that will benefit many disadvantaged children in the Hudson Valley. Local bands and various musicians will be performing to raise money for this year's annual TOYS FOR TOTS Fund Drive and we need your support to make this event a success.
Everyone is encouraged to come out and enjoy this night. Of course you�ll be part of a great cause, but you�ll also get to see four great bands, a little acoustic music between sets, and even a bag piper. The lineup consists of area punk cover band Where�s Grant?, original act Universal 3, alternative rock covers by Phillip The Meatbox, classic rock covers by The Skeleton Crew, acoustic music by Pete Crotty of ...id, and bag piper Kieron Smith.
Local radio personality John Gilmore of WRRV and 92.7/96.9 FM, and benefit organizer Rich D. from Phillip the Meatbox will be emceeing the event.
Any donation is welcome, however, we�d like to encourage everyone to bring a gift. It�s always easy to hand over $5 for someone else to spend, but in light of the recent tragedies, this might be the one gift many kids receive this Christmas. Wouldn�t it be great to know they got your toy? You can also visit Sweeneys anytime and inquire about purchasing a Donation Stocking. So again, we would like to encourage everyone to come out, have fun, and make a donation for a really great cause.
