Info

Every band has their great unreleased album, and this is Ophiuchus's. The sessions were recorded at Stable Studios near Marlborough between December 1990 and May 1991.

The master mixes were presented to Probe Plus in the summer of that year, but with the break-up of the "Cartel", Probe declined. A very small amount were circulated as Ophiuchvs Recordvs promos with the catalogue OPHOO3.

Several other tracks were recorded including a cover of "All The Good Times Are Dead And Gone", and Andrew Hargreaves' "The Greenman".

As a curious footnote one of the albums best tracks did surface during an interview with the band on BBC television's "Points West" programme in December 1990! Prior to the interview a minute long BBC commissioned promoclip featuring the band performing, with members of the "Ragged Hereos Mummers" and "Dick" dancing around them, in an old grain barn in North Wiltshire was screened.
