| First Appearance: "Beer bad." Other episodes: "Wild at heart." Veruca is a hot and sexy girl that became a Werewolf three times a month. She was played by Paige Moss. She first appeared in "Beer Bad," (season three episode five.) as the singer/werewolf. Oz was attracted to her since he first saw her, and in the next episode ("Wild at Heart,") he discovers that she is a werewolf and they have sex while in wolf form. Willow finds them naked and asleep next to one another and this puts the wrecking ball in their (oz and Willow's,) relationship. Willow decides to cast a vengeance spell on Veruca and Oz but Veruca attacks her. At the last moment Oz comes to Willow's rescue and he transforms into the wolf. Veruca also transforms into a wolf and they fight. Oz then kills her by tearing Veruca's throat open. Veruca is missed greatly. Paige Moss is very beautiful in a different kind of way. She is also very good at playing a cold ruthless killer. Her excellent portrayal makes Veruca one of the best characters in the history of BTVS. My idea to bring Veruca back: I don't think Veruca can truly be dead since a silver bullet is the only thing that can kill a werewolf. I think it would be cool if they have a episode next season (season six,) where they find out about a werewolf in town and they find out that it is Veruca. That way Oz could come back to help them stop her. How can they bring her back if she "died?" In the middle of the proposed episode they can have buffy visted the coroner. The coroner can tell Buffy that Veruca's body vanished after it was brought in. (That would make sense since a Werewolf can heal mortal wounds.) |
