D O N K E Y S:

George

George is now being ridden by my children.
When he first came, he was so frightened of people that he’d shy
quickly away from them. He will make someone a fine riding gelding.
He trims, still shy of loading, but has come a long way.
We are now asking for a $300 adoption fee for him.
The fellow that had him brought him and another
donkey as he stated he didn’t “want” them anymore,
but also insisted on us paying $200 each for George and Roy.
They had holes in their legs from fly bites and
hadn’t been trimmed for a long while. They are now doing well,
healthy and trimmed appropriately.
We have put a lot of time into him as you can see.

Roy

Roy is a small standard jack. As his “buddy” George (above),
Roy came in with his feet untrimmed and needing it badly.
Roy also had severe holes in his legs from the flies
and couldn’t be touched. Was very much afraid of contact.
He now trims and loads, while he too is still shy of loading,
he does well with everything else. While he is still a jack, he does like
the “girls”. Roy is gentle with the other donkeys and with us.
He also has come a long way from where he was.
We are asking a $200 adoption fee for Roy, that is exactly what we’d paid for him
to get him healthy and taken care of again.

 Diamond

Diamond was rescued from a meat buyer at an auction.
She is a little over a year and though this picture wasn’t a real good one,
she is filling out nicely now.
Diamond is the “true” black,
with no white points, as most donkeys would have. Diamond leads, trims,
loads and loves hugs and butt rubs -- her favorite.
We are asking $300 for Diamond, she is a standard jennet donkey.
We paid $250 to save her. She deserved it, and is very much loved.

HERE'S THE GOOD NEWS:

BLM donkey (jenny)
update: suzy has found a new home!

Suzy, appx 10 years old (standard).  Off a feedlot in the twin cities.

update on Grandma and Grandpa horses

these photos were taken right after the horses arrived at
our place

Grandma horse didn’t make it.
The vet said that her body had eaten itself from the inside out
and that her organs were beyond repair. Grandma will be sadly missed,
she would fall asleep when I brushed her.
Grandpa horse is thriving and we’ll soon be adding
updated pictures of him. He’s a beautiful rider
and Grandpa adores the attention.
Though he knows he rules in the pasture here.

All of the animals on this page are to GOOD homes only!
We've worked hard and spent many dollars to make sure that they were healthy
and sound before offering them for sale.
It will be hard for us when it comes time that we have to let them go.
It's hard not to get attached to them, as they are such loving animals.
But, we do need to find them new homes.
Thanks for looking at our pages.
Please remember,
take care of your animals and they'll show you more love than you can imagine.
