SCOUT ADVANCEMENT REPORTS-

PACK DUES- $25.00 annually, due by the end of September.
MEETINGS - Pack meetings are the 3rd Thursday of each month at 6:30pm at the O.S. Senior Citizens Center on Washington Ave.
FYI- Scout uniforms and supplies can be ordered through Pack 210 or ask for a complete list of resources.

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM
Scouts can earn a Community Service Award by participating in 5 community service projects in Scouting year. The program teaches the Scouts about "Giving back to the community."
Funding is through the selling of aluminum cans and the Pack Meeting Door Prize Fund Raiser.
Scouts may earn coupons for door prizes through purchase at the door or by contributions of aluminum cans , soda tabs(Gabriel Spicer/Ronald McDonald House Fund), Food pantry items, Coats and shoes for kids and other collections for community service.

PACK FALL CAMPOUT -
A weekend of fun and games and camping at Camp Wilkes. The camp will be themed " Survivor" and will feature competative and activities based on the TV show. "Survivor" t-shirts are availble for $10. Camping fees are $2/person/night.

SCIENCE FAIR WORKSHOP - O.S. Senior Citizen Center 5:30pm. Learn important tips and techniques in entering a project in the Science Fair. Remember we are shooting for 100% particpation this year. All Scout entering will recieve a patch, belt loop or pin and be treated to a Pizza Party !!!!!!!!

PACK MEETING - " Christmas Spirit " This is our big Christmas party . All Scouts should a finger food platter, 1 unwrapped gift for the Women's Shelter, and 1 wrapped gift for gift exchange. We will also be collecting jackets for Coats for Kids, Food for the Food Pantry, and shoes for kids. Anyone bringing these items will recieve free coupons for the Dorr Prize Program. We will be having live entertainment also, TBA.

OAK PARK SCIENCE FAIR - Our goal is for 100% participation by our Pack. All Scouts that participate will recieve a patch and will be invited to a special pizza party on Feb. 6. scouts will also recieve the science Beltloop(if not already recieved) and be eligible for the Science Pin, Scientist Badge and other Rank and elective credits.

EARTH SCIENCE DAY- Camp Tiak, Scouts are invited to attend this day long event(campers welcome) Scouts will earn credits for Rank, Elective and Webelos Badges. see District website for details.
OCEAN SPRINGS ELKS CLUB MARDI GRAS PARADE- Pack 210 will be participating in the annual parade. We will have an 18' trailer . Decorations will be themed for Harry Potter. Scouts should sign up in advance because of limited spaces on the float. Scouts should bring throws(make your own, recycled beads, or purchase) Scouts may purchase throws at Walmart or school/Carnaval supply stores( ask for Krewe discount for the Krewe of Akela, Experience has shown that you will need at least a case of beads or throws, about $25)

6:30pm at O.S. Senior Citizen Center . All Scouts who participated in the Science Fair will be presented with patches and awards and of course a giant Pizza Party. We are hoping for 100% participation this year. All scouts will recieve a patch and Science Belt Loop(if not already earned) and will be eligible for Science Pin , Scientist Pin and other awards.
