All-star Game 2002 Recap

The National League won the 2002 All-Star game 16-13 in a see-saw battle at Alumni Stadium in 100 degree heat.

The Cubs were represented by Jack Muse and Duffy Thomas.  Jack garnered National League MVP by the virtue a three for three performance including a two-run homerun and two doubles.  Jack drove in four runs and also scored three times.

Duffy also played well batting lead-off with two doubles and two RBI.  Duffy pitched 1.1 scoreless innings with two strikeouts and the required walk.
