Both foals arrived safely during the COLD winter weather,. Spirit's foal Tanner, a seal brown colt arrived Feb 8th, 2007. Ladybug's foal, Penny, a chestnut filly, arrived a month LATE March 5, 07. All is well, I will say the late arrival made us some nervous!!! . As of Fall 07, both foals are weaned from their dams, lead well, groom( including body clipping),and have had their feet trimmed monthly. Both are being desensitized and will mature around 13H and be very dependable ponies for kids or smallish adults. What a great experience having the opportunity to raise babies from birth.I would say at this point they have a home here.We are some attached to these little ones. |
