Welcome to the OUSA Southern Europe Regional Forum (SERF) website

The Open University Students Association (OUSA) is a large apolitical organisation with a widespread membership. We aim to represent the views of Open University students whatever they study and wherever they live. All OU students are automatically members of the OUSA. More than 25,000 students study outside the UK, 4341 of whom live in Southern Europe. The aim of this website is to provide useful information to OU students living in Southern Europe.

The Southern Europe Regional Forum (SERF) has an online FirstClass© conference: 'OUSA Southern Europe RF'. The SERF represents the following European countries: Austria, Cyprus, France, Gibraltar, Greece, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain and Switzerland. Each country has at least one FirstClass© branch conference; some countries have more than one, each representing a region (e.g. OUSA Br SW France, OUSA Br Barcelona, OUSA Br Northern Italy). FirstClass© conferences are the main point of contact and discussion among OU students living in a same area. If you wish to obtain access to the SERF conference please send an email from your OU mailbox to OUSA Controller, oufcnt1.open.ac.uk, stating your Personal Identifier. Online branches are easy to access. From your FirstClass desktop, click on Open University (blue shield) > OU Students' Association (green icon) > OUSA LIVE (ear icon) > OUSA Regions > OUSA Southern Europe > click on your nearest branch and add the conference to your desktop (Collaborate > Add to Desktop)

Click on the links above-right if you wish to know more about the OUSA and the SERF, and about how you can get involved. We hope you will enjoy your visit to this website.
