Communications are maintained by way of a satellite to satellite uplink/downlink. Originally we were limiting transmissions to corporate issues, due to the solar interference normally experienced on this particular planet. For a ten month period in '97 communications was totally unavailable due to contract disagreements with our former provider. However, a shift in orbit and a new deep space communications system has allowed for better and longer access to Earth. Thus the return and expansion of this web site.

You may have noticed that we have a minimalistic attitude about our web sites. That's why our site(s) are mostly text oriented. We don't really like cluttering them with a lot of unnecessary graphics which only tends to bog down the system(s). Taking longer to load and serving no real function other than aesthetics. Not that we don't like graphics, we do and would like to add more in the future, we just feel it shouldn't take forever to load our pages just for the sake of a bunch of trinkets and blurbs. We are always happy to read any comments or suggestions you might care to convey.

Having extra and better communication time we are now able to do more "web surfing" and have found many interesting locations around the Internet. We will place jumps to what we decide is most interesting to us on our links page for your perusal.
