Hi there. Welcome to  my Australian Wildlife site. This is the Birds section of the site. Here you'll find a collection of Australian Birds including kookaburras, parrots, cockatoos, bower birds, rainforest and barrier reef birds.

Many were  photographed in South-East Queensland, Australia. Birds from Queensland National Parks such as Lamington National Park,  Bunya Mountains are included. 

There are audio clips for many of the bird calls. Hear the Kookaburra, Parrots, Whip Bird and many others..  These are very small 'wav' files (average 30k). They load quickly, and you don't need to install any special player. Click to hear the sound clip whenever you see this icon. audio icon
