| The Tiger Cub Program is designed for boys in the First Grade and/or is 7 years old. The Tiger Cub and his Adult Partner work together as a team. There are 5 achievements in Tiger cubs: 1. Making My Family Special 2. Where I Live 3. Keeping Myself Healthy and Safe 4. How I Tell It 5. Let's Go Outdoors Each Achievement is divided into 3 parts: 1. A Family Activity 2. A Den Activity 3. A Go See It Outing To begin his path to the Tiger Cub Rank a boy must learn 3 things: 1. Learn the Tiger Cub Motto 2. Learn the Cub Scout Salute 3. Learn the Cub Scout Sign Once a Tiger Cub has completed these he is awarded the Tiger Cub Belt Totem and is awarded a white bead for each family activity, an orange bead for each den activity and a black bead for each go see it he completes. These beads are worn on the first 3 strands of the Totem. |
