  • Cost is $40 per cub scout (2nd year Webelos = $20)
  • Check mad eout to pack 1680 and given to Than, Darla, Sara
  • Leaders and scouts from 1656 need to fill in new forms (due to pack merger)
  • Pack pays for den leaders, asst. den leaders, committee members

Next Pack Night - Dec 13 (Reece Nagai, Sara McAllister)
  • Remind cub scout families about the collection of the food hamper every Pack night for needy families
  • Pinewood Derby cars will be gift-wrapped by the Webelos Patrol Dens and handed out at the Pack meeting
  • Theme for December is Winter Wonderland
  • Cookies and water will be provided to the cubs scouts and families (Webelos Patrol Dens will help to coordinate handing out the cookies from the kitchen area of the church)
Christmas Adopt-A-Family (Tom Cox)
  • Pack agreed to buy gifts for the children (aged 1-13) at the Robert C. Tate Center but not stage a party at the Center
  • Recommend buying "non-violent" gifts (like guns) for the children and in the $10-15 range
  • Each was assigned an age group to buy a gift for (refer to specific Pack 1680 web page for this event)
  • Cub scout families to bring the gifts (unwrapped) to the Dec 13 Pack meeting
  • Pack 1680 web site will be updated with information for this event
  • Den leaders to also distribute information via E-mail and Den meetings due to limited amount of time available before Christmas
Cuboree (Sara McAllister)
  • Scheduled for Saturday, Dec 7

Blue & Gold (Reece Nagai)
  • Scheduled for Saturday, Feb 15
  • Setup begins at 1 PM
  • Rand advancement ceremony to begin in the church sanctuary at 4:00 or 4:30
  • Dinner in the gym one hour later
  • Initial cost look slike $5.50/person with a choice of barbecue or or hamburger from The Swinging Door

  • Friends of Scouting in sanctuary between 4:30-5:00

  • Question raised about handing out a derby patch to the cub scouts

  • 2nd year Webelos parents need to decide what arrow will be given by the pack to the cub scouts
  • Arrow should be the same for all 2nd year Webelos
  • Families can opt to but a second arrow if a different one desired
  • $100 budget
