- Brazos Bend campout for Oct 18-19 confirmed and reserverd

- Den Leaders to contact Kent McAllister if a Den Chief needed for
their den

Pinewood Derby Proposal (Tom
Cox) |
- Proposal submitted to replace existing derby track and purchase a
new electronic timer kit and software at a value of $1000-$1135
- Intention is to order equipment and software soon so that it can
be delivered and tested in time for the derby in January
- Some concern about the cost and the transfer of knowledge on using
the equipment from year to year
- Agreed to purchase new track, timer and
software (Tom to follow up with vendors and work with Joel on
payment for new equipment and software)

Advancement Software (Roland
Garza) |
- Data base of previous advancement software corrupted and not
recoverable
- recommendation to purchase new software called Packmaster ($80)
- suggestion to post list of advancements for the cub scouts on the
pack web site
- Agreed to purchase the Packmaster software

Popcorn Sales (Sara McAllister) |
- Shonette Messerole is the new Popcorn Kernel
- Sep 15 is kickoff date
- Money is due Dec 2 but pack recommends collecting all money at the
time the sale is made
- Delivery of popcorn is Nov 15

Bobcat Ceremony (Sara McAllister)

- Set for Oct 17
- Plan to use use the same boy scouts as last year's event
- Recommendation to provide boy scouts with a list of the cub scouts
prior to the event so that they can learn names
- Agreed to follow up with Chuck on screen
print preparation and sample T-shirt

T-Shirts (Chuck Littlepage)

- New Class B pack T-shirt presented by Chuck (pale green color with
front and back print design submitted by Robert Garza)
- New shirts would cost between $5-8 each depending upon the size of
the shirt
- Sizes run from boys S, M, L to Men's S, M, L XL, XXL
- T-shirt was approved as submitted by
Chuck (Chuck will coordinate collecting T-shirt orders at the next
pack meeting)

Fall Campout (Sara McAllister) |
- 1 PM start at Brazos Bend State park
- Cub scout families can set up tents beginning at 2 PM
- each den will coordinate its own dinner and breakfast food
- 7/8 PM campfire
- Pack will provide drinks, 'Smores and campground fee
- Cub scout families will $5 per family for the event plus the gate
fee to enter the park

- Pack 1680 to provide snow cone machine and popcorn
- Scott and Kent Nutt are taking names of any families that want to
help out with the event.
- Tigers attending the event can receive a Tiger Tail

- Theme for September: Soaring to New Heights
- Dens will march into the meeting one at a time
- Agenda presented by Roland. Announcements item to be added to
agenda.
- An information table will be set up at the back of the gymnasium
for people interested in signing up for pack activities
- Chuck Littlepage will also be taking order for the new Class B
T-shirts
