Pack Night (Roland Garza)

- CUB-O-REE scheduled for Dec 6 (details on pack web site)
- Roland distributed information for earning a Texas badge (details
on pack web site)
- Recharter planned for January ($20 for 2nd year Webelos, $40 for
all other cub scouts)
- Checks for recharter due from Dens Jan 12
- Pack will pay recharter fees for all den leaders, asst den leaders
- Kelly Mueller has already purchased the Pinewood Derby cars that
will be handed out at this month's meeting

| Bobcat Ceremony (Vince Mezzano) |
- Ceremony went well
- Vince to send a letter of thanks to the
Boy Scouts involved in the ceremony

| Pack Calendar Changes (Sara McAllister) |
- Pinewood Derby:
- Races planned for the Sacred Heart Catholic Church on Jan 24
- Cost for rental of church is $100
- Church is booked from 2-10 PM and includes a kitchen
- Derby registration will take place in the Scout Hut on Jan 23
- Car Clinic days will be Jan 17 and 18 at the Scout Hut
- Motion carried to rent the Sacred Heart
Catholic Church on Jan 24
- Blue & Gold:
- March 6 date not available at Faith United Methodist Church
- Bear Dens to search for a new
location
- Suggestions for a location include VFW building, Fleur, Swinging
Door, Sacred Heart
- Need space for 250 people
- Preferred date is Feb 28

Pack Concerns (Vince, Roland, Kent M)
|
- Concerns over need to reschedule two events (Pinewood Derby, Blue
& Gold) due to schedule conflicts at Faith United Methodist
Church
- General feeling of Pack Parents Committee is that we should be
treated as an equal participating member entity of the church and
should have use of the church facilities as needed, particularly for
our two biggest events (Pinewood Derby, Blue & Gold)
- Recommendations:
- Kent M to approach the appropriate church
members to voice our concerns and schedule firm dates in 2005 for
these events

| Popcorn Sales |
- Prizes for popcorn sales expected to be delivered in December
(Vince to verify)

| Scout Hut (Vince) |
- Pack storage shed was broken into in November, one door was
removed
- Nothing stolen from the shed
- Recommendations:
- Sign on the shed door to deter potential
thieves from breaking in
- Complete repairs to shed doors

| Training (Janet) |
- BALOO training scheduled for January 10 & March 13
- All day event from 8 AM - 5 PM
- Need people from various dens to attend training to meet cub scout
requirements of having a BALOO trained leader at all cub scout
events
