- Conflict with Houston Aeros game (tickets for cub scouts provided
as a prize from popcorn sales)
- Approximately 20 cub scouts scheduled to attend the hockey game
- Pack Night meeting will continue as planned

Recharter (Sara
McAllister) |
- 2004 Recharter fees ($40/cub scout) due now
- Medical forms due for all cub scouts (Class I) and for parents
over 40 (Class III) that attend cub scout events or field trips
- Pack will pay recharter fees for all den leaders, assistant den
leaders

Pinewood Derby (Roland
Garza) |
- Map to the Sacred Heart church in Richmond is posted on the Pack
web site
- Suggestion to post a sign or the pack banner outside of the church
gymnasium on the day of the Derby
- Church is booked from 2-10 PM and includes a kitchen
- 1st, 2nd and 3rd place trophies will be presented for each rank
and also for the Championship round
- Every cub scout will receive a participation patch, ribbon and
plaque
- Blue & Gold:
- March 6 date not available at Faith United Methodist Church
- Bear Dens to search for a new
location
- Suggestions for a location include VFW building, Fleur, Swinging
Door, Sacred Heart
- Need space for 250 people
- Preferred date is Feb 28

Blue & Gold (Sara)
|
- Swinging Door seems to be the only viable location for the Blue
& Gold
- Some concern over using an establishment that also sells alcohol
- No alcohol allowed to be consumed during the Blue & Gold as
this is an official BSA event
- Posters on the wall will be covered
- Bears to coordinate the event
- Theme for Blue & Gold is Fiesta
- Event begins at 4:30 PM, Feb 28
- Agreed to use the Swinging Door for the
Blue & Gold celebration

Training (Janet Wamsley) |
- BALOO training scheduled for January 10 & March 13
- All day event from 8 AM - 5 PM
- Need people from various dens to attend training to meet cub scout
requirements of having a BALOO trained leader at all cub scout
events

- Arrow of Light committee meeting Sunday, Jan 11 at 3 PM at Keith
Hammons' home
- The Meseroles are requesting payment directly to them for the
Houston Aeros tickets (game is Friday, Jan 16)
- Troop 38 campout scheduled for Jan 16-17 at Brazos Bend State
Park. Contact is Kent McAllister.
- Need to make a decision on signing up for Camp Strake at the next
Pack Parent's meeting. Contact is Janet Wamsley.
