Cub Scout Pack 1680 - scouting for food
| Every year, Pack 1680 participates in a charity event to collect food for needy families. The 2004 Scouting for Food event takes place on Saturday, April 3 at the Pecan Grove Randall's store. Each Den/Patrol from Pack 1680 has been assigned a time slot to participate in this event. Cub scouts are asked to arrive ten minutes early to receive some instructions on how to help out. | ||||||||||||||||||||

| Keep in mind that Randall's is helping us in this effort so we do not want to overwhelm their patrons. We will need proper adult supervision ( At Least four adults per time slot) and we need to make sure that a small number of boys are approaching the customers (4 to 5) and that we use additional help to count and box the food items. | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Please work to keep this orderly (Do not allow the boys to run towards the customers as they come in the doors) so that we will be welcome back. I am sure all would agree that this is much more productive and timely than placing bags on homes owners doors and picking them up later. | ||||||||||||||||||||
